I am a R&D mechanical engineer with broad experience in robotics, design of mechatronic systems, and simulation of manufacturing processes.
I find captivating the process of bringing ideas from napkin sketches to finished systems. Leveraging my strong background in precision engineering and physical modeling gained during my PhD at ETH Zurich, I enjoy diving deep into the technical aspects of the project. At the same time, I strive to keep a broader vision of how the project fits within the larger organization. That balance between generalist and specialist is one of my strongest assets.
My career spans in several countries, which has given me the chance to manage multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with leading industry partners. Throughout my professional career, both in industry and academia, I gained a strong competence on topics such as industrial robotics, design of complex mechatronic systems, physical modeling, and project management.
