Doctoral Researcher
MORe is a team at inpsire AG. We develop a simulation tool for the evaluation of the geometric, static, dynamic, and thermo-mechanical performance of machine tools.
Activities involved:
- Developing and maintaining the thermo-mechanical Finite Element (FE) module
- Implementing Model Order Reduction algorithms to reduce the computational effort of large thermo-mechanical FE-models
- Managed a large, open-source software project (GIT version control, Agile software development)
- Provided customer support
- Promoted the use of the software in industry by writing blogs and updating the website
January 2017 – March 2021
